1st visit, the cocktails were amazing. We had the Baked Camembert and Pate for starters, could not fault the taste or the presentation. I had the Trio of Pork which was a little dry and the knives need to be sharper. My partner had the Honey & Garlic chicken which was a little on the small side, once again presentation was immaculate. I could not eat any more but my partner had the cheesecake which was delicious. When we first went in the music was ambient but then the louder music from the cocktail bar took over and it took something away from the atmosphere
Went on a recommendation. Food and drink reasonable for the price. Only negative is 70s disco music being played quite loudly during meal, - an unusual choice for creating a dining ambience. I'm just being picky! Overall, an OK experience for an evening meal. Staff very helpful.
Over priced average food in musky / stale smelling restaurant I regret to write we visited here last week, myself and my partner. Sadly, this was far from a memorable experience in a musky restaurant environment. The food itself is over priced for what is on offer and the food it has to be said is frankly mediocre bordering on unedible . It is portrayed as fine dining “A La Carte”unfortunately it is far from this benchmark. Both our fillet steaks arrived over cooked when we requested them to be cooked medium rare. Mine was particularly dry and chewy like leather ! The chips were soggy The cocktail menu is also very limited and the chairs very uncomfortable. I am really struggling to find anything positive to say about our meal, although the red wine we had was excellent if not the bar gentleman a little peculiar and down beat . Over all would not return.

Food was okay, nice selection and clearly an experimental and enthusiastic chef. Sweet potato fries were amazing! Wine list was extensive and really good however young (possibly bar manager) guy who served didnt know a thing about it and took ages to bring it over. He was inattentive and easily distracted throughout the meal, spent ages wondering round on phone and looking in the mirror. We found this strange as it was a surprisingly quiet saturday night. Woman on bar was lovely and friendly and knew what she was doing, wish shed served us! Nice atmosphere and decor. Just a shame about staff!
