Nidd is a potpourri of architectural styles. Rumour has it that Edward VIII met Wallis Simpson at a party here – and we’ve maintained the tradition by giving our guests a party every night with first class live music, comedy and dancing.
Nidd Hall is set in 45 acres with award winning gardens. You can cast a rod on our fishing lake or, from some of the rooms, cast your eyes over the spectacular Yorkshire countryside.
Just returned from our holiday at Nidd. Yet again everything was very good, my only comment would be it was cool in some of the communal areas, but this isnt a complaint. Food and Service were exellent. The entertainment was brilliant. Wish Charlie had been there longer, but hope he had a great holiday. Big Thank you to Jack (In the bar), Doroto (House Keeping), Charlie, Stuart, Lorna, Mary, Eva, Jodie (Sorry if I have missed any of you) and of course Donna. We cannot wait to return in March. We had a lovely turkey and tinsel stay. Staff always polite, professional, friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel good entertainment. Ask for an upgrade well worth it for the not very much more extra cost. Looking forward to trying another hotel soon.
Spent 3 very enjoyable nights at Nidd Hall last weekend. A variety of food on offer, very warm comfortable rooms and great entertainment especially "Disco Inferno" on Saturday evening. Fabulous location with superb grounds. Our favourite place having been several times and spending Christmas there - can't wait.
Lovely location, a walk around the grounds is well worth doing. The service was great and the entertainment was excellent. One thing that you have to get your head around is the levels of the floors, we were on the first floor and you entered at the reception which you would say is the ground floor, well you walk through the hotel to find you are on the second floor and get the lift down one floor. Once you walk around a bit it isn't a problem. Great for a short break.
We had a lovely holiday. The staff are lovely & give 110%. Our room was clean & comfortable. The entertainment was good & a variety for all tastes. Will go to another Warner holiday hotel in the future. A wide choice of food and we'll cooked.
