Great place to go for proper pint family pub lovely atmosphere always summit on at weekends week day's even, very accommodating too honestly there's nothing anyone can say about this little gem hidden away but loved by many it's what you call a local pub, highly recommended in my book, it's what every good neighbourhood needs is a good old fashion traditional friendly pub 10/10 for me anyway xx

Went and reported on Portsmouth vs Wycombe on the final day of the season, and after the game, was invited to try the Newcome out to see a few friends. A very lively atmosphere, friendly staff, plenty of TVs to watch the football, and some funny punters.
Very friendly local pub. Passed by as part of a pub crawl with a friend but ended up staying the whole night because the atmosphere was so welcoming. The owner even arranged a taxi back to our hotel for us at the end of the night. Friendly Welsh barmaid recognised my faint Welsh accent despite me living in Ireland for the past 25 years :-)
