Great traditional pub. Joined in Amy's fundraising quiz. Arrived early so we could eat. Great food, nice selection of beer and well served Guinness.
This is a traditional country pub, totally unpretentious, and has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The menu is very extensive, we were spoilt for choice, we'll definitely need to go back soon to try some of the other dishes on offer. This pub serves food on a Sunday until 8pm which is very unusual for the area. Highly recommend

The food, swiftly delivered and artistically presented, features a diverse menu with excellent vegetarian choices and classic pub fare. The vegetarian curry, a favorite for my daughter, remains a consistent delight, while the ever-changing fish option consistently impresses. The pub's frequent themed nights, like the upcoming murder mystery evenings in the new year, add an exciting element to the overall experience. In essence, The New Inn strikes a perfect balance, offering the warmth of traditional Devon coupled with a compelling and varied menu, ensuring each visit leaves you content and satisfied.
Lovely friendly pub, great home made food, although children's portions would benefit from being slightly larger for the price. Decent selection of beers and a nice and clean, warm and cosy atmosphere. Staff welcoming and accommodating and obviously dog friendly which was perfect for us. We'll be back!!
I was taken here today by my husband to enjoy our time together without our children. It was a lovely, quiet setting, beautiful building, friendly staff and the food was amazing. Everything came out beautifully presented, and was all cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back here again and highly recommend!
