The New Inn is a 17th Century Cotswold Country Pub, with beamed bar, log fire, beer garden & skittle alley/games room, Sky Sports. Serving traditional local ales and freshly prepared food.
Taking over The New Inn at the end of April 2020 we are now happy to be the other side of the various lockdowns and restrictions that have been in place. During the year we have decorated and renovated much of the building, including the skittle alley/games room, main bar, extended the garden and created a wonderful covered seating area. We welcome locals and visitors from further afield to sample, amongst others, our wonderful Donnington Ales and home cooked food. Children and dogs welcome.
Our firm belief is that a good village pub is all about a cracking pint, hearty food and a place to meet up with friends and family. A central point for all of life’s celebrations and congregations. We look forward to being able to welcome back our skittles and darts teams as soon as we are able and invite community groups & families to make use of our skittle alley/function room, please get in touch if you have any enquiries regarding making a booking.

It's insanely difficult to find a pub in this area that serves vege/vegan food you'd actually want to eat (most other pubs had one non-meat option on its menu, a veggie lasagne with chips - are you having a laugh?). I was delighted to visit The New Inn, where I had a DELICIOUS Sunday nut roast. I also note there was an equally tasty-looking vege/vegan option risotto on the menu. Dessert was a bit overpriced for the small size, but also very, very tasty. Service was also great!
Local Pub with potential I have been going to this venue for over 18 months now, its nearly a local for me,however over the past 3 months its gone from my favourite localish pub to one not to return to. Locals have turned it into a loud and dark place forgetting other people who want to also enjoy good food and have a quietish time. Food quality has dropped and the ambience has changed from a cosy place to stop by and eat good pub food to a local drag. Its a shame really as The New Inn caters for all that walk through the door, tourists, locals and not so locals. What a beautiful hidden Gem!!!! Had an excellent meal tonight at this lovely pub . Fantastic service by the young gentleman behind the bar. Why isn't is full? We are passing through in a campervan. We are staying overnight...so all you campers, come here have a meal and stay over!!!!! Beautiful village location. Massive beer garden. Immaculate inside. Lovely Shiraz for red wine lovers.
What a gem of a pub. Jules and the team were right on target. We stopped in the car park with our motorhome for the night, no charge for parking. We had a wonderful meal in the pub. Fish , chips and peas , Including a bottle of prosecco £35 . We added a starter each and a few ciders . Great atmosphere in the place. Nice quiet night. Local caravan and motorhome club site wanted £34.80 just to park up for the night. Thank you Jules. Will certainly be returning 😊.
Absolutely BRILLIANT place! Great food great beer great staff great atmosphere all at sensible prices. Can't fault any of our experience here. Situated in the Cotswolds we really didn't expect to find such a brilliant & friendly place at such affordable prices. There's even an indoor skittles alley, a large car park with a covered garden terrace complete with heating. Really can't praise the place enough!
