It was OK but chips were the cheapest sticks ... however its understandable for the cost of running such a place with the cost of things plus wages I suppose its a well done to the management and staff for keeping prices down, but I'd rather have real potato chips even if it means paying extra ....

It's good enough for a cheap meal out. They have got offers on food most days of the week. The staff are friendly.

Been many times. Great place, good staff, food reasonable. Toilets were gross. Urinals were blocked. Sinks were blocked. Someone had used one of the cubicles. Don't know if they hadn't flushed it, but it was full of things I can't describe.

We came in as a family for a meal. Now kitchen closes at 9pm granted. But we called ahead and asked if it was still possible to have a table for four people. We were told as long as we placed our order before 9pm they would still serve food. We attended at 8:30pm and it was very clear that the staff weren't happy about this. We knew for sure when we overheard the male attendant say to another member of staff do they know its 8:30 and that he thought the server shouldn't have taken our order. When the food was slapped down on our table it became apparent that no care or pride had been taken by chef cooking the food nor the server handing out our meals. We ordered a sizzler that didn't have a single sizzle on the dish. It was dry and no taste. All four of us left most of our meals and left the venue dissatisfied and disappointed. WE will not be returning here to eat again. As a regular customer in the past I expected better service like we are used to receiving.

Called in unexpectedly and decided to stay for dinner. What a shame about the food because it is a lovely pub. New menu item showed parmesan chicken with crispy potatoes and salad. Chicken was great but the potatoes were cold, grey and dry whilst the salad was full of un-lovingly rough stems and wilted leaves.
