First Time for Sunday lunch 😋 It was the best roast beef dinner ever. The beef was so succulent that you didn't need a knife to cut it, 😋 I truly recommend you book a table as it is very popular. I shall be returning there again

The best carvery I've ever had!! If I could give more stars I would! Great rustic atmosphere & cosy, staff service excellent & so friendly! The food was so tasty, thought I'd died & gone to the big place!! Hope to go back there again on way home from our travels, wish they would set up shop where I live in Devon!

I highly recommend a Sunday lunch at the Nantyffin, especially in December as there is roast turkey & Christmas pudding on the menu. The food is absolutely delicious, plentiful & cooked to perfection. All meats are slow roasted, so they just melt in your mouth. I had the turkey, & can honestly say it's the best I've had in a long time. The staff are lovely, very accommodating & cheery. It's a very busy & bustling place, but nothing is too much trouble. I encourage everyone to sample the delights of Nantyffin, but advise booking, as it's full to the rafters on a sunday.

Had lunch here today with family. Nice enough bars and atmosphere. We got seated in their restaurant and it was nice. Confidence was high and we had researched this pub and hooked our trip out today into a visit specifically to it The staff were helpful and our order was taken quickly and drinks provided quickly enough. But the food took quite some time to arrive (30+ minutes). When it arrived there was quite a bit of difference between the quality of some of the orders. Steaks were good, substantial and seasoned well. But the fish and chips / scampi and chips were not the best at all. I had the fish and chips (pictured and that is a small oval plate... don't be fooled by the dimensions... check scale against the fork). It was a small piece and slightly over done as well. I would have expected way more food for the price as well as a decent tartare or equivalent sauce. Chips though we're excellent but again... too few. I have had fish and chips up and down the UK and this one was definitely the smallest serving in a long while (even adding in takeaways). Go for the steaks. Cooked to order and done well. 4* for steaks but 2 of us left today having 2.5* food experience.

Highly recommend the delicious Steak and Ale pie. Prompt service. Lovely staff. Just a shame you don't get to sit in the beautiful barn with the mill like it shows on the website, you only get to see it if you go to the 'inside toilets'.
