honestly used to love this pub back in the day, but now overly full with fashion wannabes and weird guys, you're lucky to get a seat even if you come early as from 9pm onwards its hell in there. security clearly doesnt do their job properly and arent quite nice generally, assuming gender and race and overally rude when they arent given what they want. a goodish pub for a quick pint and the bartenders and barmaids are very lovely, most times its easy to see that the pub is so clearly understaffed. 1 female toilet and the line is so extremely long as every is doing bumps in the toilet, additionally the toilet does not have a seat. and when asking for a drink they do not wait for the dispenser to full completely, so you are paying much more than you should be. bartenders also often pour a half pint of guiness and forgets about it, making customers wait ages until being served. overall, the pub is alright, no seating, no toilet seat, cheaper drinks than most in peckham, but i am still very unhappy with the security.
Awesome venue! 🤩 Super-friendly bar staff and security creating a really fun atmosphere, in itself then attracting a nice crowd of people, and reasonably priced drinks. Came here for the Fury vs. Ngannou fight (huge screen, great for big events!) and will 100% be back on other nights out in Peckham. You’ve gained a new fan! 🙏
Great local pub, cheap pints (john smiths £3), lots of screens but they're not too much in your face, liked the music and people. Shame there's no drinks outside. I wish I knew a place like this in Hackney.
Cheaper than most...pretty generic offerings but clean and fresh pints always a good thing.. .friendly local characters seem to make up the main customer base...easy going pub
