Great location for local pub, with free, spacious car park. Menu contain pub specials and food is served fairly quick. Prices are great especially if you consider dinner with family. Service is fantastic, our waitresses are always so polite and kind, really doing their best. Atmosphere in general is great. If you consider coming on weekend, you better book as you might struggle to get it in.
Went for a Christmas meal with friends as we live locally and love this place. The food was lovely and the service was friendly as ever. I like the place because they serve one of my favourite low alcohol beers, and loved it this time as I heard one of my favourite, little heard artists Will Whisson being played 😁 Big thumbs up Mundy Arms 👍👍👍
I booked a Christmas dinner for my family and I have to say the service and food was first class. A special mention to Lyndsay who looked after our table, we were greeted politely and seated promptly. Lyndsay took special care to make sure everything was in order and double checked our orders were correct. The food was spot on and the service including all of the bar staff and waitresses exemplary. This is a well run pub with exceptional staff. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to a return visit!
I went here with my family and took my grandson on Boxing Day. We had pigs in blanks for starters which I did not like they tasted like rubber. I think the food was rushed through with it being boxing day. It just felt like it was just in and out like a cattle market, the food did not taste very nice at all. Felt like it was just a microwave warmup meal. I would never recommend this place to anybody staff or absolutely lovely though and the place is clean and tidy but as for the food I was well disappointed It was £85 for my family that was just the meal that wasn’t even drinks included
Was pleasantly surprised with the food here having previously been to other Hungry Horse pubs and the food being awful. Nice clean pub, plenty of parking and lots of tables inside. Staff were attentive and service was quick. Will definitely go again.
