Cool pub under the bridge, nice decor. Sadly half the tables are for food only so we had to stand and drink.
Fantastic hidden pub / wine bar. I didn’t realise when I booked that it was a Davy’s chain. It has all the perks of a unique venue, with the extensive food and wine list of a Davy’s. I also saw traditional pewter tankers being used for some of the ales. The place is vast, a snug casual bar area at the front that then extends into a dining area at the back. There’s a very cute room tucked away that you can book for a group of five or six. Even with us being hidden away, service was attentive.
Cute place, lovely tankards if you order ale but normal glasses otherwise. Uneven floors so some tables awkward to sit at. Bar man was lovely. Just not that inviting
I only had a Hard Apple Cider. It was good. The atmosphere was great.

With its high ceilings, large windows and an impressive sweeping staircase, the Barrowboy & Banker pub in London Bridge offers a grand welcome. There's no pretention here though - simply good food, great beer and a brilliantly friendly atmosphere.

For autumn 2015, we've gathered a collection of ten superb aromatic gins. These are modern gins, flavoured with elusive botanicals, and served with garnishes that compliment the flavours and aromas of each gin.
