This is the centre for Heatherlea birdwatching holidays, which are excellent. Brilliant guides who take you to all the right places to see the best birds. The hotel is adequate. You are only there to sleep and eat and the meals are very good. Friendly and helpful staff.
Ate dinner in the restaurant. Lovely lounge and super friendly staff. We both had the local lamb and it was delicious. Well worth a visit.
Didn't stay there, but food is locally sourced and is very good. Eight of us were shown to the" library " for an aperitif, various gins , various whiskies and locally brewed beers. Good atmosphere. Definitely the place for the bird watchers, twitchers. You'll not be disappointed with the service.
A lovely place with friendly staff and great food. We really enjoyed our Dinner here, the interiors are traditional, warm and comfortable. Our food was all well presented and cooked perfectly, such a contrast with the other local Hotel. Service was good too and most helpful, we will definitely be back here when we are in the area again.
Excellent food and friendly service at the restaurant. The lounge area where we had a drink before dinner was quiet and homely. Cheese souffle highly recommended!
