Not sure about the hotel, but cracking bar out the back, great ale brewed on site, tastey grub and a roaring log fire on a cold day. Kids n dogs allowed, but no standing in the bar which isn't great I think. Means the place can fill up quite easily.
Friendly attentive staff, had a lovely dinner here with parents. Gluten free meals, vegan meals, vegetarian meals - options to choose from. Big plates of food and tasty - can't ask for much more. Try their ales - made on site.
Strangely unwelcoming bar staff! Nice location and interior is cozy but you get the sense the staff would rather you had gone elsewhere. Beer good from the local brewery in Moulin.
I had a couple of pints here on Monday (28/08) after climbing Ben Y-Vrackie. Sat outside in the sun , very relaxing. I've been here many times in the last 15 years or so. The service, food, and accommodation has always been excellent. A great atmosphere in winter. Although we didn't eat today, the outside service was excellent. Highly recommended.
