Issued me a parking fine for using a service located in the car park. I used the in post locker and they want me to pay £100. When I never left my car I got out to use the locker for less then 5 mins and straight back in my car. Why have the in post locker in the car park if you can’t park next to it and use the locker. There is no sign on the in post locker to say you can’t park to use it. I have also been in here once with work and the service was horrible and the food served cold. I wouldn’t recommend at all. I have advised colleagues not to use this place anymore. Horrible people stealing money and offering terrible service.
The pub and serving staff were lovely, unfortunately, it was a wasted trip as according to the patron, they don't serve food anymore and don't have a kitchen, although the beer garden was comfortable. We parked around the back and noted that parking was for patrons which was fine as we were , until I received a £100 fine, at no time were we made aware that there was supposedly a place to sign in.
Amazing atmosphere and excellent customer service from all staff. One of the best features is the big beer garden which has great entertainment using the speakers to give the customers that little bit more of a great enjoyable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone as it as the potential to accomadate to a variety of different people.
