Just been to the moorlands for a boxing day meal having being persuaded to book owing to to how busy they were ( they had plenty of room ) the first thing to happen was we got asked if we wanted drinks, we didn't and still didn't after the 3rd time we were asked. We chose the Christmas Dinner 1small 1 medium the first thing was the food was barely warm let alone hot but once it had been brought we were not spoken to again we even had to go looking for the server when we wanted to pay, we made our complaints at the till and my partner saw the manager leave the room ( not ) come and speak to us we were then offered a 10% discount by the girl on the till on a £30 total a complete rip off not only that but there was no Yorkshire pudding or sprouts as you would expect with a Christmas dinner and you would also expect a gravy boat as some people don't like as much or as little as others but no the cool gravy had already been added. An absolute let down and we shall never bother going back

Attended for the Harry potter quiz and it was a lot of fun! Well organized event with good ambience and company. Our seats were comfortable, and we enjoyed a lot. Only issue is that the food took two hours, and arrived without cutlery or any condiments, but otherwise did have a good time. Well maintained property with plenty of parking.

Lovely little area for the children to play. Had a Yorkshire pudding wrap but was really disappointed as it was literally just meat in the wrap. Roast potatoes didn't seem fresh, maybe sat in a warmer? So just felt extremely greasy and stale. The cajus fries were lovely. My son enjoyed her burger from the children's menu. Service was good.
