Have made several visits to this area in the hope of visiting this lovely pub but is always shut.
Well it’s a gorgeous watering hole in the middle of nowhere, we have come up from Cornish Cornwall … to see you all …hopefully you will be open in the future,looks like a money spinner site 👍🍹🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Unfortunately this cute pub with idyllic surroundings appears to be permanently closed.
Having completed 50% of a 24 mile walk we were hoping for some grub and a refreshment before getting on our way...sadly the pub was closed at 1315Hrs when we arrived. We did make use of seating area to enjoy on personal snacks but would have been nice to enjoy the local.....maybe next time.
Great, quiet country pub, well off the beaten track, with good home cooked steak pie. Visitors book dating back to the First World War days.... amazing to read a poem written off the cuff about days of trouble and hope.
