Wanted to take my boyfriend away for a last minute weekend away in the new forest, luckily stumbled across this place. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Beautiful place with such lovely staff. We got upgraded to a lodge due to a last minute cancellation and it was unreal!!!! Use of the spa facilities at Carey’s manor was amazing as well - it’s about 10 minutes down the road; we went on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cosiest bar area as well with a roaring fire. 100% would recommend to anyone.
We had a fabulous overnight stay at The Montagu Arms Hotel last night. We were made to feel so welcome by the staff, as was our dog Noah (who was greeted with some lovely treats and everything he could need for a lovely stay)! We stayed in the beautiful Maple Room (23) which was so pretty, cosy and with lovely views of the garden. Beaulieu is a very pretty place and very well positioned to explore the New Forest. Breakfast was delightful. Overall could highly recommend a stay here!
We had the perfect minimoon at the Montagu Arms after our wedding in the New Forest. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, and it felt like everyone went above and beyond to make our stay really special. Our room provided exactly the kind of comfortable luxury we were after to relax and unwind following all the excitement of our big day. There were so many lovely moments during our stay, like watching the ponies and donkeys outside our window, and enjoying hot drinks and the open fire after a chilly autumnal forest walk. The grand finale on the last night of our visit was the tasting menu with wine pairings. The flavours of each dish were outstanding and we really appreciated sommelier Paulo’s knowledge and enthusiasm, and the time he spent with us. We felt so well looked after and made so many lovely memories. Thank you Montagu Arms, we can’t wait to visit again!
The restaurant is out of this world friendly staff, and the menu is tasty and full of flavour, they also have a cocktail menu that is only available there my daughter who turned 18 today had the Rosey Apple made with apple gin and a rosemary liquor that is made in house. She said it was lovely. Thank you to the staff who were brilliant 👏
Had a lovely stay here, the staff are absolutely brilliant and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast is very nice and they also have a good bar area with a knowledgeable barman. The only problem we had was piano music being played at 6 in the morning on the Sunday but that was sorted out the next day.
