The Mines is a little Manx gem close by the Laxey tram station. There is an overwhelming feel of belonging when you enter this pub, like you want to snuggle in for the day and become part of the furniture.
From the quirky tram-shaped bar to the endearing traditional Manx touches dotted about, it really is a feast for the eyes.

As you head out into the beer garden you are greeted by a variety of seating options, some of which are covered and heated and all of which have a great outlook as the tables gently spill into the station.

Great place to sit and watch the trams go past. With a lovely pint of Okells. On our visit, they were no serving food .
Beautiful pub great spot with a good selection of beers only spoiled by very inattentive almost a lack of interest by the bar staff .

Nice restaurant, convenient next to the station. Not special but nice for a lunch and to sit outside.
Unusual bar. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food served and even the dog is made welcome
