Staying briefly in the village, thought we'd give the Miners a try. Good call! The wide variety of steak pies was mind boggling. We chose steak and stilton and steak solo. A pot of gravy to accompany, with home made chips. Washed down with a pint of well served Landlord ale. Fully recommend if you're in the area.

Came for an event, had lunch and dinner there, both brilliant but can highly recommend the pies! Great group and fab atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome! Will call again!
Amazing food!! - especially Pies!!! Great atmosphere, very attentive and friendly staff.. and black doggie who made out day by bringing his toy and waiting to throw it back to him ! I would be a regular if it was my local pub 😉❗ Only one thing put me down - toilets. They need a good scrub.
In an era where many local pubs are unfortunately closing, it was an absolute delight to stumble upon this pub. It's everything a pub should be. Cosy, welcoming, unpretentious, home cooked food, friendly staff. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return. Highly recommended.
