Beautiful settings, great service and lovely food. Such good value for money, we had the set lunch. We sat in the garden room overlooking the river. Very helpful waitress too. Liked the fact she was attentive, but just left us to chat. Having been several times, will definitely return. By the way, poached egg on the haddock fishcake was cooked to perfection.

My second visit in two months. Just love this place, even in the depths of winter. Great ambience with proper log fires. Us ladies would appreciate a full length mirror in bedroom (to see how much weight we've put on during our stay!) and a couple of hooks on back of bathroom door would be handy. Plan to return in the spring to enjoy the glorious gardens and riverside setting, but current rates are prohibitively expensive for a solo traveller. Shame to lose manager Richard. A terrific asset. Wonderful front of house team.

My Wife and I have just enjoyed a 3 night stay. The staff were very polite, welcoming and attentive. The food at breakfast was excellent and even though we generally chose the full English we were able to add and swap items without any issues. The dinner was also excellent, with a good choice and good price for the quality of the food. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was so comfortable and everything we needed was provided in the room. The location was perfect, and we loved the different areas in the main part of the pub each decorated with unusual and unique items, and within keeping of its history as a working mill. The log fires added to the ambience. We look forward to returning.

We had a beautiful stay at the Old Mill. Room was immaculate with many complimentary items. Tea, coffee, cookies, toiletries. The room had an iron, hairdryer, practically everything you need. Bed was super comfy! The whole venue was sparkling clean and breakfast was delicious. All staff were lovely and efficient. We will be back!

We had a two night stay with our dog at The Old Mill in Room 8 which we found to be spacious, clean, comfortable and perfect for our furry friend. All staff we met were friendly, helpful and service was good overall. We had an evening meal and can report the food was lovely and served on hot plates, a big thing for my wife! Breakfast was as good if not better and I personally can recommend the 3 egg omelette. In conclusion, we left relaxed, happy and will return at a later date.
