Amazing food and service. Highly recommend
Absolutely amazing food. Served hot and quickly. Very nice staff easily identified by their "crew" shirts. We were a table of 20+ and they did a stellar job delivery everything as ordered. I had the Highland Burger, which was amazing. I would have had a sweet, but i was too full. So a nice white coffee filled the small gap i had left. I would definitely go here again. Recommended
We visited with friends and our two dogs. We received a very warm welcome in the bar and even got water for the dogs. The food and drink was excellent, the chilli burger I had was superb, but all four of us loved what we had. Such a friendly place, really lovely staff and great service. And very reasonable too. The locals were also very welcoming, I really couldn't fault a thing, highly recommended.
We were a group of ten on a long weekend break, booked into the royal for lunch but we arrived a couple of hours early, all the boys to the bar and the girls to the lounge for a few drinks. The atmosphere in the bar was superb everyone was so friendly the two guys behind the bar were comedians that serve beer they were so attentive as soon as your drink was empty there was another there straight away, to lunch. Service was second to none, nothing was too much trouble and the food was fresh and cooked to perfection..steak was excellent. On the whole we spent about 5-6 hours in the place and it was a pleasure and a bit of a retch to leave if we are honest, we can’t rate the place enough.. well done and we will be back..
Ideal for an informal meal with a few friends/family. Friendly staff, great menu, generous portions & very tasty. I recommend the wings, they are delicious. The fish was more like a whale fillet (in size) sitting on a bed of chunky chips (Personally, I'm not a fan of this as the chips & fish start to become soggy)... but did not detract from the overall taste! I would definitely order again !
