Hotel is in a good location for the city. Rooms were clean and tidy, bed comfy. Bar staff were great, large selection of whisky and gin. Didn't use pool or sauna but great to have them available. Recommend it as great value for money.
The room, location, cleanliness, access, location , breakfast selection and staff were amazing. Me and my partner really enjoyed our weekend get away here. However, the only suggested change I would advise is to section out times (for example late night from 8pm until 10pm) for adult use only of the spa facilities, as myself and my partner wanted to go for a relaxing swim and jacuzzi time but were surrounded by children splashing and screaming (after 8pm) which wasn't relaxing for myself or my partner therefore we left the pool after only being in their for 20 minutes.
Reception very good. Room very clean and tidy with good ventilation and heating. Pool and facilities excellent. Breakfast buffet had everything you can expect except no porridge! 😞 strange for Edinburgh 😞! Atmosphere in the bar was friendly All staff were exceedingly helpful.
Stayed here earlier in 2023, great spot for the hop on hop off bus tour with the stop across the street. Within walking distance of loads of fab restaurants. Pool downstairs was small but perfectly clean. We did not eat here but had drinks at the bar and service was excellent over the weekend. Staff all very friendly. Absolutely will return
We had a great stay, the location was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a family room, so as I read in some other reviews there were some stains on the carpet but I would expect that in a room where kids are just going to make messes over and over again. The bathroom was nice and everything was clean. We will definitely stay again if we ever make it back to Edinburgh.
