Absolutely incredible! The food was mouthwatering delicious - the best I've had in a while. I ordered the ginger and garlic fried rice with crispy chicken and it is a perfectly balanced dish. The flavours, the texture, the satisfying sensation of having a properly cooked meal. The spiciness, the crunchiness... Wow! I'm really glad I came here and chose this from the menu. I'm gonna dream with this dish for a while.... The atmosphere inside is also very cozy and welcoming. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great background music, nice decor, good light level... Perfect for a date or a quiet dinner with friends. Best place I've eaten at in Edinburgh!
I would not go back here. I was at Element for a Christmas lunch with work colleagues and it certainly wasn't worth the £22.95 for two courses. The potatoes were barely roasted and sprouts were solid, you could not even get a knife through them. To top it off though, there were pieces of PLASTIC WRAP in my turkey. It was fortunate I noticed it before eating any of it. The staff were helpful and did take money off our final bill, but I certainly didn't eat much of my lunch.
We had a great time. The quality of the drinks is really good and the service was very friendly. We were also Very happy with the food but my Highlight was the custom Bloody Mary!
2nd time we've been here for drinks. Staff are lovely and friendly. I tried 3 of the new dessert inspired cocktails. They were all lovely especially the angel delight and Lemon Cheesecake one. The creation of the bar guy (sorry didn't get his name). He was very pleasant and friendly. Well done on the cocktails Still to try the food but will certainly be trying shortly
Visited Element today for the first time. We found all of the staff to be very friendly, helpful and calm under pressure to take the orders of our large group. We all found our food to be very delicious, the portion size was very good and fairly priced. My wife will recommend the mushroom soup and the truffle fries. I will recommend the Sunday lunch. Thank you Element for the excellent service today. We would love to visit again.
