We are a very friendly and comfortable local’s Grade II listed pub with a welcoming open fire for the cold winter months and a great beer garden for the sunnier times.
We are part of the local darts league and have a quiz night every Tuesday at 9pm - why not come down and join in the fun!
Also live music every Friday.

Stopped in for a drink on route to destination. Service was good a polite. The fire was burning in the fire place, which you don't see much of nowadays, but I love that.
Just popped in as one restaurant we went to was so rude and abrupt, so we left, but the impression we received and excellent customer service was second to none. Would've stayed longer, but don't do any food. Which is a shame. Keep up the good work.
Came here with my mates who drink alcohol. They had a great time and enjoyed the alcoholic drinks available. First time visiting and I love the beams on the ceiling which gave it an old authentic pub feel. It was a very nice, cosy and lively atmosphere in there. People very having a laugh and enjoying themselves. I had a regular soft drink and a lovely serving of chips which were really crispy and well cooked. Lots of delicious meals on the menu. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would return her again.

Lovely English pub and restaurant with traditional black wood beam ceiling features and a bar decorated with lights (see picture). I just popped in as I was passing on a Monday afternoon. I really liked it. Google maps has (or had) this place noted as permanently closed. It is, however, most definitely open.

We serve great, home cooked pub style food, lunchtime and evenings, and love having the odd BBQ in the summer.
