Lovely hotel stayed here many times whilst visiting the brecon beacons very comfortable rooms . Lovely food , coffee and spirits . Will very much look forward to visiting again 😀
We had coffee and Cake this time, very pleasant staff, nice Back ground music, When my Wife needs some "me time" , together this is where we go. Easy to Talk, Met some old friends of my wife.
I stayed here with a friend during a road trip and a trip to Bike Park Wales. We arrived very late but Sarah checked ahead with us so that she could let the night porter know. When we arrived we were greeted by Phil the night porter and he was great. Very easy going, helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our pints and our chats with him. Phil let us store our bikes in the lockable garage which helped a lot too. Our twin/bunk bed room was all we needed. Enough space, comfy and clean and everything worked. Breakfast was very nice too and the coffee was great. Highly recommend. Phil and Sarah were fantastic hosts.
I stayed at the Tiger Inn for a weekend trip to BikePark Wales. The staff was very friendly and helpful with holding a bag of riding gear I shipped ahead of my arrival, I went to India first and didn't want to drag it with me. The Welsh breakfast was outstanding and they made great coffee. It rained off and on while riding so everything I wore was drenched and muddy. They provided an extra fan to help dry out my clothes for the 2nd day. My only suggestion would be to update their website with info on the bike storage they have and feature the nice open courtyard more. Definitely staying here when I come back for a longer bike trip.
We got soaked mountain biking and needed a replacement option for camping and were lucky enough to find this hidden gem. Especially having the dog with us we had limited options. The hotel is still in the process of a full remodel so current room options are up steep stairs, but that's pretty usual for UK pubs, and the delicious breakfast and espresso, lovely room decor, and above all dog-friendly facility combined with sweet and kind staff made this a fantastic stay.
