A very pleasant experience at this pub. Visiting on business and wanted a place with good food,and wasn't disappointed.

What a lovely Sunday lunch. Lovely ambience, fab food, great staff snd a very nice Rose wine what more could you want. Price was good too.
We had trouble booking as we couldn’t get through on the phone, but having taken the decision to wing it, we’re glad we did. The staff member (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) ensured we were seated and got our food order in before a large group, so there was no major wait at all, and the food which came out was great - large portions, great taste, and we left feeling very satisfied. Couple this with the historic building and the scenic location (well, if you look in the direction of Kenfig Dunes/the church and not the M4, this is well worth a visit.

Ancient local with plenty of individuality by historic sand dunes, well kept ales tapped from the cask, decent wines and good choice of malts, generously served straightforward food at fair prices.
