Very friendly pub. We were made very welcome and felt like we had been coming there for years. The Landlord was extremely kind, polite and helpful. He shared lots of useful information about services available in the local area. We wished we could have stayed longer but as we had our car with us, we just popped in for a quick refreshment stop. Lovely people and a great range of drinks both soft ones, beers and spirits even coffee, which they made for my Husband following a long drive. Don't miss this little gem if you are in Cwmbach...We loved it.

Friendly, lovely welcome from Matthew (Red) and staff and the lager on tap there is the best I've ever tasted, i highly recommend if you want a crackin' pint of lager or beer get yourself to the royal oak I kid you not.....

As a singer in a band and solo I love performing at this place! Amazing friendly people and atmosphere makes performing so easy as everyone is there for a great fun night! Always a top night!!!
