A 200-year-old traditional sandstone free house close to West Kirby train station and fine views of the Welsh hills. With a superb selection of real ales.
A traditional pub in a two hundred year old sandstone building close to the centre of West Kirby. The pub is a little quirky and laid out over several different levels with lots of cosy nooks to sit in along with a real fire to keep you warm in winter. During warmer months you can enjoy the lovely beer garden to the rear. There is a quiz on Monday night.

Visited the White Lion back in December with friends for a pint. A wonderful place to have a pint. Didn't have anything on the food menu.
Lovely pub, very cosy. Had live music on which consisted of one singer and guitar. Was pleasant background music rather than a show. Really enjoyed it.
Stopped by for afternoon drinks and loved chilling out front. Our son loved a fish pond out back and it’s a beautiful pub. Really recommend stopping by for a 🍺
A beautiful traditional pub, with a great variety of beers on offer. This is a low ceiling, proper inn style pub with bags of character. There are around 4 or 5 real ales on tap at any given time, usually by local breweries. There are little snugs to chill out in, in addition to the front and rear beer gardens. A must pop in, if you're in the area. A lovely pub.
Lots of rooms + big beer garden. 5 ales on all good. Wonderful pub. Stone floors + sandstone walls .service excellent.
