A real friendly locals pub well worth a visit
Good for watching the footy, just wish they had a decent real ale/bitter on ans a working ice machine or stock of ice.
Popped in for a few drinks recently and a few songs on the karaoke, this is a nice friendly local pub reasonably priced drinks and a great outdoor space/ beer garden at the rear the regulars were a friendly bunch too, probably return soon 😀
Best little pub in thatto Heath by a country mile. Great pint of Guinness. Great service. Great atmosphere. Nice to see some old faces after lockdown. Thanks Kevin gal.
Love this pub and so does Ted my dog. He always gets lots of attention and fuss from everyone when we go there The York has a warm friendly atmosphere. Comfortable seating and loads of room New Year is great fun with entertainment and hotpot for everyone Drinks are very reasonably priced and a good selection - even stocks the weird cider my niece drinks! Draft excellent and house wine not bad either

The name of the pub is slightly less odd, when you realise that Brown Edge is the name of a village. Intriguingly, there was once a pub elsewhere in Brown Edge called The Unhinging Of Doors, though it no longer exists
