Pub closed January 2015, then re-opened with new name July 2015. Merito has been updated and transformed to a country pub and restaurant. It is Category C listed building with the original construction dating from the early to mid 19th century. One handpump dispenses mainly Scottish rotating beers, and the rear lounge is now a large bar with log burning fire. The pub has a dining area and a private dining area is also available. Food is served during opening hours.

Great little village pub. Staff are brilliant and can always help or suggest alternatives. Still no food being served.

Great wee place, food is fab and all the staff are lovely and friendly. Not expensive.
Curry night is good value. Need to order in advance!!!!! Food prepared by the Indian Kitchen in Stewarton.
