We cater for families with a special kids’ menu plus high chairs (available until 8pm) and we’ve got good disabled access and plentiful onsite parking.

Partner and I came here for food, we were fairly close to the closing time (our fault) but staff were very accommodating and seated us. Our receipt says our server was Bailey and she was fantastic. Food was amazing and I couldn’t fault any part of it even if I wanted to. Will definitely come back here.
Went for Christmas lunch and it was lovely. The food is fantastic the service and atmosphere are second to none. Lovely warm welcome couldn't do enough for us. Had the roast beef which was excellent and Christmas pudding was the same. Been here a few times and always had a great meal and welcome. Definitely would recommend The Mercat Bar and Grill.
Found this place a few months ago, and so glad that I did. Fantastic wee pub, staff are very friendly and attentive, which seems to be lacking in a lot of other places these days. The food is great and there's not much on the menu I wouldn't have. Haggis cigars are great, will definitely have them again. Some meals have a smaller option, which helps if you want 3 courses. Everything I've had here so far has been better than expected. I look forward to working my way through the menu. The deserts are amazing. Repeat, amazing. All homemade to hit the spot. And if you're struggling to choose there's a very friendly waiter who must have a sweet tooth, as he gives cracking reviews of them to help you pick. If you've not been out for lunch or dinner here yet, then add it to your list. You won't be disappointed
Lovely food - as always. We went for my husband's birthday. It is a dog friendly place, but folks with dogs are in a different area to the main restaurant. We've been here a few times now.
We had great tasting food at The Mercat Bar & Grill on an early, quiet Thursday evening. We enjoyed a tasty and filling pie, as well as some fajitas, that left just enough room for a cheeky dessert. The staff were really friendly & the place is also Dog friendly too, in its own area, which is essential for us going out.
