We have just been to the hogmany party and there were a few issues, for a start if you bought drinks with cash there was no change given . The food was good , but the singer in the band was absolutely terrible . The tickets were not cheap and we expected better from the band. We will not be back unless the music is better.
Just back from Meldrum House Hotel after having Christmas Day Dinner in one of the glass domes that can be rented for any occasion. What can I say other than it was 1st class. The dome itself was lovely and warm with fairy lights all in it. Because we had our dog the staff had put out a blanket and a bowl of water and some biscuits for him which was a lovely touch. The service was 1st class both with the serving of the food and the drink's. The staff weren't intrusive but were very attentive. The food was amazing, the surroundings are spectacular and definitely would book again for Christmas Day. We even got a visit from the man himself, Santa! "Merry Christmas"🎁🎄
This has to be the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Overall it’s very charming, and the rooms were excellent, clean and with everything you need. What elevates it is its wonderful staff, who are not only helpful but friendly and patient, down to the last one. The breakfasts were lovely and the vegan options were good too. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the chef was a star, catering for someone with particular needs so well. We stayed with a wedding party, but I would definitely go back for a normal stay
This is an excellent hotel....it is truly dog friendly. The staff make the hotel. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We used it as a base to explore the area and spent 3 nights their. It is also very good value with superb breakfasts
Truly sensational... I was fortunate enough to be in Turrets suite for 3 nights on a work trip.... a real Scottish gem... food in the relaxed bar area all amazing.... staff brilliant... I am going to return... only thing missing is a gym... but 5 stars for me
