We booked for 12 o’clock but waitress didn’t take our order until 12 50 when we asked about 30% off voucher. Food was good but when she gave us the bill no discount!!! When we asked her she said we hadn’t mentioned it then remembered and rolled her eyes when she had to rectify it. Not busy either. Not good
Me and my friend had booked a table online and it was ready and waiting for us when we arrived! My friend has just be diagnosed with celiac disease so asked for the gluten free options. The waitress went off and came back with a laminated menu of gluten free options which was amazing and made it easy for her to see gay was available. She just wishes that it was as easy as this everywhere else! Thank you so much for a lovely meal and drink at a lovely pub, we will be back and recommending to others, especially my friends family who suffer with allergies as they were very thorough on this which made her feel at ease.
Arrived at 13:45 was shown Straight to our table. Drinks order was taken swiftly and service was great. I wasn't well so couldn't enjoy the food but others in the party said it was lovely and they was very full after. My children had same sized meals as adults to our surprise. Then on leaving we asked for the drinks bill as everything else was paid prior. Bill arrived £68!? We expected to be paying for 2 cokes and 2 beers. This was all looked into by at least 6 staff members (was funny to watch). It was all because the children had been brought out adult mains and not children's. The bill was then adjusted and only £19.70 to pay .. much better! Hopefully next time I am well enough to dig in as it looked amazing. Overall experience was lovely. Thank you all
Great service today for our lunchtime dining here today. Special mention to Wendy and Laura who were both very friendly and helpful I taking our menu choices. Great staff and great menu choices. Didn't stay in the rooms so unable to comment. Look forward to both visiting again. Joyce and Sue (birthday girl!)
We have stayed twice recently and were very impressed. The food is great and good value. The staff are very helpful, the young lady on reception couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast time, Wendy was also very attentive and helpful. Rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Would be great if they could add a charging point for phones. Would stay again!
