The Bar has Sky HD and BT Sports, we're dog-friendly, and delighted to welcome families with our fantastic indoor children's play area. We offer a tasty children's menu and have a great family room for you to dine with the kids, with high chairs and baby change facilities.

I recently visited The Mayfield in Seamer and had a fantastic experience. The standout for me was the chicken platter – a flavorful delight that was cooked to perfection. Additionally, the variety of options available for kids is impressive, catering well to little ones with different tastes. One of the unique attractions of The Mayfield is its soft play area. This is a fantastic feature, especially when it's less crowded, allowing children to play safely and enjoyably. However, during my visit, I observed that when the play area gets busy, there isn't much supervision regarding age limits. This led to some bigger kids dominating the space and unfortunately, some altercations among the children ensued. Overall, The Mayfield offers great food and is a wonderful venue for families. It might be beneficial for the management to consider a more structured approach to the soft play area to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all children.
Visited last night for a meal which was very good. Waiting on staff were very young but were polite and efficient. Bar staff were also very young and need more experience to deal more quickly with customers in a busy pub/restaurant.
Booked a table for 14 people as it was my daughters birthday party. They were extremely accommodating. The food was high quality and for a brilliant price. They were very organised and had our food done very fast, everybody was happy. I would highly recommend this place for all ages as it has a soft play area for the kids. And through some doors away from the play area, it has a completely different atmosphere for the adults, quiet and cozy. Love the Christmas decorations They have up too!
Achieved the impossible! The food here has always been delicious, but when I went this time it was even better! I got the Nachos and ‘The Don’ burger. The nachos were nice and hot and the dips on the side were great! The burger… the chips were so crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, the onion rings were super fluffy too but was slightly too much batter for my liking. The burger with the beef patty and chicken were sooo juicy and perfectly cooked! Everything was very hot and fresh and was just perfect, every flavour really came through and matched well together. By far the best burger in all the Scarbrough Area. It is a little expensive compared to other places but for the quality of the food it is well worth it, do not miss out going here for a meal!
Good burgers, reasonable kids food but perfect for family dinner. Family room allows you to let the kids run around the soft play area while you sit at your table.
