Warm friendly pub. Food absolutely delicious. Great menu choice, portion size and price. Would thoroughly recommend especially the Chefs Green Thai Curry, excellent.
Passed this lovely hotel many times and today we decided to try their Carvery. Great move ! First carvery we have been to that the staff ask you if you have enough meat on your plate or would you like more? The chef came out to speak to us which was a lovely touch. The staff we attentive and efficient and the food was lovely. Good price too. The Proprietor was very nice and the hotel is dog friendly (dogs allowed in the bar area). Cracking peaceful outside seating area for nice summer days. All in all a very pleasant experience. We will certainly dine there again !
Nice place to stay overnight on our way travelling south. Pleasant and friendly hosts!
We stopped here for an evening meal food was lovely I had steak (with Diane sauce which chef made) my husband had mixed grill. Staff were very friendly especially the young guy behind the bar what a credit to this hotel.
Great spot for food. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced! We went for the carvery and every single item I had was awesome! Coffee options were minimal, but that’s just my own personal preference.
