Very large static caravan park. Ignore signs for directions around the caravan park as I spent 20 mins going round in circles as some road entrances are blocked and you end up having to go all the way back to the other end of the caravan park to enter the road from the other end. I just didn't understand why they blocked the road off when the signs were pointing to the blocked off end. The caravan was very dirty especially the toilet. The radiator in the toilet was matted with dried stale urine and when heating was on it was stinking of stale urine. They didn't supply a hoover or brush to clean up. Luckily we had family in another caravan and borrowed their brush to clean up and I had to scrub the radiator clean to stop the smell. There was a major delay in trying to get out of the caravan park at the end of our holiday as lots of people were leaving at the same time and there was not enough parking at the reception area and restaurant area then a massive line of cars caused massive tailback all the way into the caravan park and trying to get out causing gridlock in the caravan park. I witnessed several people getting very frustrated and argued over parking spaces. It had taken 25 mins stuck in a line of traffic just to get out of the caravan site. Definitely won't be returning to this site.

We've just arrived home from our trip to Haven Marton Mere and overall it was fine. If your looking for a TLDR it is fine. For those who need a more detailed rundown.... Caravan: Bronze caravan was ready just in time for the 1-2pm arrival, the clean took the cleaners about 30mins and at first glance it was very presentable. All of the rooms looked very clean and we weren't presented by any foul odors. Upon further inspection the caravan was missing some basics; toilet brush, clear instructions for the heating system, the cooker wasn't fully prepared with a full kit of trays so we had to cook our food in batches so we couldn't eat together. We had an issue with the toilets once we used them, the smell lingered for most of our time there and on top of that the marks in the toilet couldn't be cleaned up. The last problem we had was with the sink draining slowly which could be part of the stinky loo. Facilities: The NisaLocal convenient store is very poorly priced. Its actually a shame to see. Seen as families like ourselves only can with a very minimal budget. This needs addressing to incentivies friendly competition with local Tesco Extra. Didn't use the pool or any on site activities besides the shop so we have nothing to say about those Entertainment: The Arcades have a great mixture of old and new machines ranging from 20p to £3 a go for the top dog machines. I would have liked to see better maintenance however because the air hockey tables weren't working properly and some of the shooting games seemed poorly calibrated, ruining the experience. The boathouse was very expensive, a Stowford Press cider and a Carling Dark Fruits Cider was over £10 which is MIND NUMBINGLY stupid. I don't go to any pubs really and this might be normal but I was absolutely astounded so sneak your own drink in if you can because it's absurd. The boathouse's look and feel was great however with Halloween decorations up and always having major sporting games on the screens. Site: The site as a whole was very clean and tidy and is something to be admired, a staple of cleanliness other holiday sites should hold as a standard. No complaints here. 3* rating for the experience as a whole and would recommend visiting if it falls inside your budget.

The park is clean and tidy. The vans are a good space apart and the noise is well contained. The park is attached to a large beautiful nature reserve. The activities are good and fairly priced however they fill up very quickly. The onsite food is all very tasty, we had one small issue with the burger king, there was something missing from the order and we couldn't find any way to contact them. The number on the burger king website didn't work. Overall a solid 9 out of 10 the only changes I would say is more activity places for the kids.

Nice Park with loads of activity for kids and adults. Game arcade with lots of option. Swimming pool could do with a bit of warming, the slide was quite an experience for first-timers. Downside was service as I rang on a Saturday morning to request assistance with heating (after we had no heating the previous night, we arrived on a Friday). The guy who answered took my phone number and caravan number, saying he'll send someone over. Until we left on Monday morning, there was no call back neither did anyone come around. I'm just glad it was not freezing. Apart from that, we had a lovely experience :minimart on site is slightly over-priced (again, like all other on-site shops). Handful of food options, burger king, papa John's, cooks fish&chips and another restaurant (can not remember it's name). Also, an ice-cream van (closed when we went, weekend of 25/9/2023). Overall, all kids and adults enjoyed the time away and we are booking to come back soon.
