Popular local in Stoneclough village. A central bar separates the comfortable lounge from the wooden-floored bar. There are two handpumps on either side of the bar all serving different beers. It is usually the pumps in the lounge that have 2 guest ales from local breweries. It is a great place to get some quality beers from some of the best brewers in the Greater Manchester area. The atmosphere that of a classic community pub, friendly and lively and with a display of darts and dominoes trophie. There is an enchanting hidden outdoor garden at the rear reached via the pool room and back yard.

Excellent very busy pub. Brilliant staff and ale. The regulars are incredibly loyal to the place and always make an effort to contribute to any events etc.
The best pub in Stoneclough. Unbelievable selection of beers and the most welcoming atmosphere you could imagine. Bar staff are so friendly and one Sunday they had free pasties. -
Great community pub. Decent beer and pastie and peas layed on by the pub. what's not to like
Decently priced drinks, unfortunately not really a place for children as the benches outside are right next to a road that boy racers seem to like. If you're into watching football and are stuck for somewhere nearby there are a couple of TVs in here that show most games that are live on Sky/BT.
