I had a fantastic experience at this pub, and I want to express my gratitude to Jo, a remarkable crew mate. Her excellent service made our visit memorable for myself and family. Thank you for the great atmosphere and top-notch hospitality!

The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was big, and the towels were massive. There was tea, coffee, biscuits, etc., but unfortunately, there were no cups, so I couldn't have a hot drink. I could have gone downstairs and asked for one, but I had already undressed and showered. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. There were lots of hot options as well as cereal. I'd stay again.

Throughly enjoyed the visit to The Market House! The steak pie was like a hug in pie dough! The apple cookie pie was absolutely delicious as well. How they are able to give you this much food for this little price, I have no clue! Very kind service, and was happy to choose it for lunch.

Went for Sunday roast, had ran out of all meat apart from pork at 1 in the afternoon. After us they had to start offering the normal menu because they had ran out of roast completely. They had also ran out of half the puddings. The beer that my partner and his dad wanted had ran out. Food came, vegetables were so mushy I could swallow without chewing. Crackling was too salty to eat. Potatoes had obviously been frozen. Wasn’t even worth the cheap price.
