Stopped at this pub as a halfway point in a coastal walk with some friends and it was such a lovely place! The pub is beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the beach and lots of drinks and food to choose from. There was even a band practicing for their evening performance and some local, handmade gifts available to buy, with all proceeds donated to charity. Everyone was so lovely to us, both locals and staff, and the food was delicious. Would happily come back here, especially for another Christmas pasty!

Quaint old pub steeped in history. Great to see it still here after all these years. Great place to visit if you want to see maritime artifacts and a traditional fisherman's bar. Now houses the artifacts from the Duke of Edinburgh pub in Newgale, including the old taxidermist albatross with it's huge wingspan and accompanying birds in its glass cabinet which is now showing signs of deterioration with age and is in need of restoration before it's too late.

Popped in for a Sunday glass of wine was offered a half glass of wine as they had ran out of that brand and I could either pay for that or have another brand mixed in to which I refused and asked for a glass of the different wine which would have made up my drink. Sat down to drink and the wine had clearly gone off and unable to drink. Took back and explained and was pretty much told it was our fault for not having the first drink - unbelievable… ended up with a £7 can of coke as a replacement- no refund offered - would not recommend- the staff member was rude and had no customer service skills….. terrible experience…..

Doesn't live up to the signs, or photos you might see online. We stayed locally and went there to eat, but it's essentially a licensed coffee shop now. To be fair, the beer was well kept and the staff were friendly, so can't fault it - but it feels like a missed opportunity given the number of holiday cottages within a stone's throw of the place.
