This was a return visit and was enjoyed as much as before. There is so much to do, although a busy weekend meant the lists filled very quickly. There are small extra charges for craft consumables, but I was happy to pay as i know courses in these crafts are expensive. The hotel is clean but quite old fashioned. There are tea and coffee facilities in the rooms and tea, coffee and hot chocolate was supplied. The food is hot and plentiful with hot and cold options. It's good, honest food, not cordon bleu! Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. The evening entertainment was poor although we enjoyed the singer. It'll probably be better in high season. A great place that caters well to large groups and small families alike. Some activities need a bit of love like the 10 pin bowling, but understand it's maintained by external sources. A great time was had by all, and we hope to return again soon. Some of our group are back sooner than others for a pickleball weekend!

If you are looking for something adventurous or even something relaxing, this has to be the place for you. On face value it appears to cater for a certain demographic, but you soon lose that thought given the activities on offer. If you can think of an activity or sport, this place has it and offers it. Remember, some of the crafts you will be paying for, but you're not wrapped off The food choice is reasonable and you do get 3 meals a day. Breakfast and evening meal, you have a designated table and lunch is any table. You have a choice of hot or cold food, starters, mains and desserts. There is plenty to do for a week if that's what you want. We were here for a midweek break. The rooms as with ALL hotels can be noisy late at night, we've not found a hotel yet that's quiet and peaceful. The rooms are presentable, clean and serve their purpose. They are not luxury. We'd return.

The Manor House Hotel complex is excellent value for money. The sports and crafts available to try means you have full on days. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of choice of food and the quality is very good. The one thing which prevents me giving 5 stars is the fabric of the building, it is tired and in need of refurbishment. If you don't mind less than luxurious surroundings and are keen on crafts and sports give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

A lovely weekend again at the Manor. We were a party of 15 including 2 babies and it was perfect. Staff lovely and food and activities brilliant. All in all fantastic value for money. We will be back soon. Can't wait.

Absolutely love this hotel, craft and sports complex. Rooms are dated but clean and function. Meals are very noisy and buffet style. They are the only downsides. Craft and sports a plenty, almost everything. Food is really decent and part of the price. Bat prices are reasonable. Service of the whole team is excellent. Fantastic for families, couples, or even on your own!!! Brilliant, been 4 times 😃
