Booked in spa day treatment lunch after bad new is pool sauna jacuzzi out of order maintanece but they gave us a voucher to come back booked in for daughter birthday
Better than the reviews. I read a lot of reviews on TA which were pretty negative, but we had a fabulous time, the staff were incredibly helpful, the facilities were good and the treatments were superb. Great value for money - 4 stars only because not as sparkling clean as it could be, and the jacuzzi (which is advertised) is permanently closed. Think the experience of this place depends on what time and day you go; we went Thursday day - pool was pretty empty, food was good, staff were brill and treatments were not rushed and very well delivered, also after 5pm we got 3 cracking cocktails for £10. Thank you so much for a lovely day.
We were informed that jacuzzi was out of order fair enough but when we got into the pool area the steam room was out of order too. At no time even when we were paying to go in the spa area were we told it was out of action. So all we had was a pool and a sauna. The massage was ok but I have had better
My Daughter & myself had a lovely day at the spa was really looked after by everyone, the girls doing the treatments & the young girl at the reception was faultless couldn't do enough for us! The spa could do with a bit of updating decor wise but apart from that we'll worth the money Thank you to the girls Shirley Tann 25-3-19
This is not a Spa. It’s a bar that does nice food. The ‘spa’ is a swimming pool open to all with loud party music. No seating or loungers, 1 steam room, 1 jacuzzi and sauna. Unisex changing and don’t forget to take your own towel and dressing gown. Although when you wear it is a mystery because it’s anything but relaxing. The only saving grace was the 2 treatments we had. Definitely needs a revamp and if advertising the place to be a spa needs to establish it to be one!! Worth paying the extra to experience a ‘real spa’.
