We are very enthusiastic when it comes to ale and can promise a great pint every day of the week. Brakspear Bitter is our staple but we will also offer a great selection of guest beers including our current favourite Brakspear Special, brewed locally again in Henley. We will also be selecting guest beers from the Ringwood Brewery, Marston’s, Wychwood and Jennings.
Our selected wine list offers a range of New World and Old World wines to fit everyone’s needs. So if it’s a nice glass of Argentinian malbec you fancy or a luscious bottle of Chablis, we have it!
If beer and wine is not your thing we also have a great selection of spirits and just in case you are struggling we can also fix a mean Bloody Mary.
Traditional pub food done well, it’s as simple as that. All of our food is homemade by our team of young and enthusiastic chefs who aim to provide a modest, fresh and hearty menu that caters for all taste buds and all occasions. Our menu will change regularly but we can guarantee there will always be a great pie, lovely fish & chips or a nice juicy burger. Fresh fish will be available everyday on the specials board depending on what's in season. We are happy to cater for all requirements including vegan, gluten or dairy free and even fussy taste buds! Sandwiches and pub snacks are available during the week and you can't miss out on our delicious Sunday roast.

Excellent find a little way out of Henley. Great atmosphere, popular with walkers, but best of all is the food! Extensive menu, catering for all dietary requirements, and also a great and sensibly priced sandwich menu. The ever friendly and very friendly Jordon talked us into the Seafood linguine which, quite honestly, I could come back for every evening! The other winner was the Stroganoff! Thanks Jordon!

We dropped in on a dog walk today without a booking. They were welcoming and accommodating. We had a pork and lamb roast and they were incredible. Made all the better by the very friendly and attentive staff which seems to be something of a rarity these days sadly. Will definitely be back soon.
We spent lovely afternoon in the newly re-opened Maltster's Arms. The food was delicious - the presentation was lovely, it was fresh and the portions very satisfying. The outdoor space is spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The new owners very welcoming and helpful. The whole place feels clean, well-looked after. We stopped off here on our walk the area, shich is so pretty.
I had a bowl of over 50 mussels done in white wine for only £8. Great value. Tasted beautiful. Good service. Pleasant courtyard dining in a gorgeous quaint English pub
