This is by far the best pub in the neighbourhood. Food is great, definitely above the average of a normal pub. Cocktails are properly made and staff are polite and courteous. The space has a nice layout and during spring/summer there is a nice back garden with a lovely summery vibe.
Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Beer garden is beautiful in the summer with plenty of space. Nice selection of beers and ales at a very reasonable prices. The pub is nicely decorated and the food has a wide selection!
Our first visit for many many years. Now a Gastro style pub. Sunday lunch was fine - exceptional value. Staff very attentive and this was appreciated. We'll return. Nice local pub in N12
Came for Sunday lunch had the lamb and my family had the beef did not disappoint the food was delicious and the service was amazing. Will definitely be back
A slightly different take on the British Pub. They have clearly made an effort to make it more stylish and upmarket. A more modern look, the dark grey painted wood panels and wall paper contrasting with the white ceilings. The food overall is better than your average pub and the service is great. They also have salsa classes every other Tuesday if you're into that. Starters of bang bang shrimps and pan fried padron peppers. The shrimps were excellent. Main: 10oz sirloin steak with hand cut chunky chips and peppercorn sauce. The sizzling steak served on a planxa was delicious, of good quality and very well cooked. The chips, however, could have been better. As a dessert, chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake, adequate for the place. In brief, a modern looking pub, the food better than the average, with good service and reasonably priced. Definitely a 4* for a pub.
