Really amazing place, this. After a quick Google, Orissa was the highest rated Indian Restaurant in Castle Donington and I can certainly say it lived up to the expectations. Everything from the service and the food itself to the actual atmosphere of the place was brilliant. Staff were also extremely polite and friendly. Highly recommend! 10/10

My friend and I went to Orissa for the first time this evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles and shown to our table. The staff were attentive and our food came out at a good time. The food itself… absolutely beautiful!! The flavour profiles in each dish were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The portions are really good sizes, we couldn’t finish our meals and bought the rest home with us. The price is good value and we’ll be definitely going back again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent dining experience here last night, we went for a friend's birthday meal. They made it feel extra special. The staff were very friendly and attentive. the food was very tasty, beautiful flavours, food cooked very well and to top it off beautifully presented, you can tell they care about what they do. First time here, but definitely won't be our last, looking forward to the next visit, keep up the good work gents!

Had my first meal last night. Nice looking restaurant, seated in a booth. Didn’t like the way cutlery and plates were sort of thrown on the table and place settings not set. Staff were friendly. Massive wait between. Poppadom and starters… 8.30om although had been busy on arrival definitely less busy at this time. Food looked well presented and good portions. Sadly not anything special to other restaurants to say it was more expensive. Nothing special to entice me back.

Came for a birthday meal. Booked a few days in advance for 3 people. Shared poppadoms with a pickle tray, then had starters and mains each. Food came promptly and very warm. Everything was evenly portioned and very delicious. Staff were very helpful and polite. Took left overs home for a nice lunch tomorrow.
