Lovely visit today to Magna Carta for food and drinks We had the baguettes which were absolutely delicious. The new Peri Peri chicken was superb !, the service was so warm and friendly with great staff will definitely be returning again soon .
My wife and I just had a lovely meal and drink in this famous rambling old pub. Great food, lovely staff and a great 'English pub atmosphere' in a fantastic location between the cathedral and the castle. You certainly can feel the history in this location. We can thoroughly recommend it.
A stylish pub which rambles over several floors...it is perfectly placed, and excellent location, with outside seating...however it serves the worse coffee..coffee is a sepia potion...full of the promise of south America...the coffee served here is watery nonsense and tastes of cigarette ends and tram tickets..dreadful..they should be ashamed..
It was a quiet, wet Wednesday lunchtime in Lincoln , but the atmosphere was as good as it could be. I have to complement Sharon for excellent service and what a star in this industry she will be …. congrats be proud of yourself
We absolutely love the Magna, come up probably twice a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and the drinks are reasonably priced. Jamie is a very pleasant member of staff and always has a smile and nothing is too much for him. The Magna is very cosy with good atmosphere. We came to watch a band and it was a brilliant night. Definitely our favourite pub in Lincoln and worth the walk up steep hill. Lovely little gem and you can get some cracking views of the cathedral. Absolutely love it. Worth a visit xxx

The Lion and Snake is one of the oldest pubs in Lincoln, just ask any one of the the three ghosts that reside here! Our beer garden is the biggest in the Bailgate and has amazing views of the cathedral. It is popular with visitors and locals alike.
