A great pub/restaurant steeped in local history with awesome food that let's itself down with service. The staff just seem miserable, barely cracking a smile, not being helpful and just making it completely obvious that they don't want to be there. Shame.
We love Mad O'Rourke's. Being local we often eat here on weekends, but we popped in as a family for food tonight. Quite quiet but still delicious food, friendly staff and proper Black Country theming. I had the Posh 'n' Becks, my other half had a Tarzan, and the kids ate from the children's menu (which is great by the way!!) Pint of Sledgehammer and home for bed. Highly recommended. Make sure you book as it is very popular, and rightly so!!
Great pub serving local made and cooked produce. The pies looked amazing, I went for the Peaky Blinder, lots of flavour, a good warm dish on a cold winters day. Staff friendly, but a little slow. We'll worth the visit.
Went here for a Sunday carvery and was not disappointed. I will say that honestly it's 1 of the best carveries around the west midlands that we have ate. We liked it so much that we booked for the following Sunday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming even had a band playing. Definitely pay a visit I don't think you will be disappointed or feeling hungry when you leave. Thank you and well done 👏 👌
Food was absolutely AMAZING! Pies are homely with plenty of filling. Chips and onion rings we're delicious. Really looking forward to going back. Car park is a little tight so try and find alternative parking if visiting during a busy time. Nice relaxed atmosphere inside 👌
