We are extremely happy to be re-opening the doors to the people of Glasgow and rebuilding this iconic bar.
Macsorley’s is one of Glasgow’s oldest iconic music venues within the city centre. Macsorley’s has been a local favourite for over 100 years. Well known and well loved by many.
Centrally located with a 2 minute walk from Glasgow Central station placing it in the centre of Glasgow’s bustling atmosphere.

Known for its focus on live music it’s only a stones throw from Central Station and well worth a visit. It does get quite busy but in a good way. Lots of energy and bustle amongst a slightly older clientele. I didn’t eat but the food coming out the kitchen looked pretty decent and it has a mezzanine level you can use for events. Traditional wood and brass, lots of staff and some nicely arranged seating. It’s one of the nicest pubs in the area
Great little music bar in the centre of Glasgow! Has live music on most nights. Staff are friendly and very helpful. They even have a little mezzanine that you can reserve for a small fee if you are looking for an area for small private function.
Random pub crawl visit while staying in Glasgow for the weekend (one of those walk past "will we go in here" type decisions) and really enjoyed it. The live band on the night were great, had the place rocking. Really busy but we got served at the bar easy enough and felt like a good friendly atmosphere in the place. Will probably visit again next time in Glasgow. (Didn't have food so can't comment on that part)
Quite some place, not to be missed. Fairly small bar with some gallery seats above the bar. Decent range of beer. Live music is the draw, most weekends. Details on website and blackboard.
I liked it here. came in at 11.30 had some beers before they served food. the guy behind the bar even reminded me that they now serve food. every member if staff was really friendly and helpful. I liked the haggis very much and they recommend it with peper sauce which was also very good 😊👍🏻 can only recommend!
