Had a great time here. Can't comment on many of the facilities as some were closed due to it being late December and we just used it as a base for exploring North Wales. But the caravan we stayed in was clean and spacious, as well as easy to find.
Avoid doing business with this company at all cost's. I purchased a caravan in 2021 on the robin hood site paid them 30k then had a deck fitted at a cost of over 6k. Went into the office in September to take advantage of their early site fees discount and asked them how much It would be if I paid the next year's fee six months early and was given a number of 4250 which I paid in full one year later I received a letter from their accounts department demanding that I pay another 500 pounds site fee's for the year, when I raised the issue with the office telling them I paid early I was told that they said it may be more no I asked for the number to pay early and PAID in FULL. Two days later i was sent another letter that said if I do not pay the other 500 within 7 days my utilities would be disconnected and my van put outside the site. No way I was paying more after having already paid. After deciding I no longer wanted to do business with such an unscrupulous company. I asked them to buy it back to which I was told that they are overstocked so it would have to be offered to the "trade" and that I could not sell it privately as it was over ten years old it was 12 years old when they charged me 30k. Weirdly "NOT" there was only one offer from so called trader's long story short I ended up in a catch 22 where I had no choice but to accept an offer that amounted to less than 10p in the pound. The day I was clearing it out as at this point i would rather lose 27k plus than give them another penny of my hard earned cash. I was in the office waiting behind an elderly couple to hand them the key I overheard them trying to extort 9.5k from said couple for a deck on their caravan that would cost less than 1.5 k fitted including labour. My advice is to steer well clear of this company. Robbing hood indeed. If I was asked to sum up this company in one word I would say RATS. Also as an owner you do not get any form of priority access your kids can't get a booking at the pool because it is fully booked by people who have paid a few hundred pounds for a week stay. Fees increased yearly owners are there to be bled dry and to cover the cost of any upgrades they have made to the park in that year.
The place is ok, the park is nice, but the only thing bad I have to say about it is the staff really need to get some respect an manners, we are there custom, we are the reason they have a job, they are really rude, I was lucky enough to win £80 on the fruit machine I asked politely if I could change it behind the bar as they don't have the option to change in the arcade as it gave it me in pound coins was told.... NO!!! and the guy walked off, unfortunately for them I paid for my drinks and meal with it so they had it anyway.. also it was Halloween when we were there and the staff had some great masks on..... Wait a minute just thought they were not masks they were their miserable faces.. We had a nice time and ignored the staff
Was a typical caravan park. Not a lot going on though it was November and rained the three days.There is an indoor pool which is fine but you need to book. There's also a train that takes you round the park so you can see more caravans 😂😂 The food was basic as well but you can order takeaways from local places. Only went in the family bar which was much improved on the last time I visited and the entertainment kept the kids happy plus the singers they had on each night were decent. Overall good for families and of course the beach and Rhyl isn't too far away.
The camp has plenty to do, although I'd avoid paying for the wristband if you don't intend to go in the bars as this seemed the only thing they were actually needed for. The swimming has to be booked, which we were not told about on buying wristbands & it's always fully booked, best of not bothering and going to the waterpark down the road. The toilets in the bars were a bit mucky & the food is overpriced for what it is,steer clear of the carpeted area in the bar because quite honestly, it stinks. The shop is overpriced too, the mini golf isn't too bad and there is a playground for the kids. The staff were nice and helpful
