We absolutely loved our stay at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The hotel is modern, has beautiful décor, clean, friendly/ welcoming staff and rooms are modern and very comfortable. A huge THANK YOU to Danny at reception, he provided an absolutely outstanding service and made our check in the perfect experience, listening to our wishes and providing us with a great room and great recommendations for bars and restaurants nearby. We would love to stay here again when we come back to London and we’ll definitely be looking out for Danny.

I recently stayed at Hilton Park Lane for one night, having booked a room for three adults two months in advance for a visit to Winter Wonderland. I was assured of receiving a room with an extra bed. However, my problems began immediately upon check-in. The room assigned to me on the 5th floor was small and in poor condition, with no space for an extra bed for the third adult. When I approached the reception for a resolution, expecting a swift response, I encountered extremely disappointing service. In my 20 years of frequenting London hotels for work and leisure, I have never experienced such humiliation. The reception staff were unhelpful and rude, stating there was nothing they could do, even though they showed me several rooms, all equally unsuitable. I spent an hour and a half being shuffled between different staff members in the lobby, leading to a missed time slot for Winter Wonderland. This lack of professionalism in the hospitality industry is unacceptable. The staff seemed completely clueless about handling the situation. Ultimately, the room provided on the thirteenth floor was also in a state of disrepair, with faulty power sockets, broken towel rails, and no workspace due to the cramped conditions with the extra bed. Staying at this hotel was a major mistake, leaving me and my family feeling insulted and disrespected. After this experience, I am inclined to avoid Hilton hotels in the future.

I was room 721, booked by a client, and I find it difficult to believe that people actually pay 650 a night for this place, with a buffet breakfast you have to pay an additional service charge on - I doubt that all goes to the staff? The hotel is a landmark and has its regulars, but they have more money than sense in my opinion. The rooms need a big update, are poorly equipped with modern power sockets, have an old fashioned air conditioning system, the room windows easily steam up, there was a massive stain on the carpet in front of the TV, the shower head was in a very odd position in an old fashioned shower over a bath, and the additional toiletries on top of the large ones fixed to the wall were meagre. Now the check-in process, as I said, the room was booked by a client for a major conference held at the hotel, but on checking in I was told I would have to initially pay for the room. I called the client, whose rep came down to sort it out - I wouldn't be charged we were both told by reception. Next day I get the bill and I've been charged. I contact reception and query it, they say they'll contact my client. I then get an email to say I've been refunded. Apparently, it was due to my US client not sending the money for my room until the morning of my departure, but I really can't understand why the hotel did not believe they would get 650 quid from a major US technology company, when that same company was spending many tens of thousands of pounds at the hotel for their event, it seems rather petty to me. The breakfast was also average in a tiny and busy dining area. The coffee brought to me was weak, and the 'full English' actually had less items available than a Hilton DoubleTree or Hilton Garden. The bacon was dry, the sausages were excellent, the scrambled egg was cold, dry and powdery, and there was no black pudding, for instance. The breads and pastries, that I didn't have, looked good.

Great refurbished ground floor, very stylish. Executive lounge on the 1st floor was excellent, with good service, and 'free' food and wine. We were allocated a non refurbished suite on the 5th floor which was a tad disappointing (being Diamond Hilton Honours), but the room was spacious and comfortable. The heating appeared not to work though and it had some rather old fashioned fittings, but was otherwise well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, omelettes made to order and a lovely buffet.

Great location next to Hyde park, loved the morning walks there. Nice ambience in the lobby, clean and comfortable room(Booked Executive room). And about the service, all the staff, from front desk to restaurants, house keeping, lounge are natually friendly, welcoming and attentive. Among all of those many Hilton and other groups hotels in US and Europe we have stayed, this hotel absolutely ranks No.1. And we want to especially thank receptionist Davide, who has provided outstanding customer service with great understanding and patience, helped to make our stay a smooth and perfect one. We would love to stay here again when we come back to London.
