One of the oldest pubs in Mayfair, The Punchbowl has been serving fine local ales and exquisite British cuisine to London’s gentry since 1750
Mayfair and its near neighbour St James's have been synonymous with style and success for centuries.
The Punch Bowl, located at 41 Farm Street, Mayfair, is a London public house, dating from 1750, the second oldest in Mayfair. It is a Georgian building, and although altered over the years, it retains many periodic features including a dog-leg staircase, internal cornicing and dado panelling.
In present times however, the Punchbowl is renowned for serving superb British fusion cuisine sourced from the freshest ingredients and served in a casual, homely and very professional manner backed by a fine range of cask ales, fine whiskeys and a stunning array of wines capable of soothing the finest of Palates.
Hope to see you soon at The Punchbowl.

We had a delicious meal and drinks here on saturday 13th of Jan. The staff were helpful and adapted dishes as requested. We especially enjoyed the Underfall Lager.
Had a guiness here while wandering around London beforr Christmas 2023. Cozy atmosphere and an open fire was a bonus. It's got a dining area on both floors. Pints were a bit steep but it goes with the territory I guess.
I came here for years....always enjoyed the experience....this time not so much. It was missing warmth and the staff was not very friendly. I was hoping to spend a couple hours here based on my previous experiences, but actually couldn't wait to finish my pint and find another establishment.....oh well....
The food was really good. I had the Beef shin & oyster pie with mashed. Came with broccolini and a side of Gravy. Delicious with quality pieces of beef inside the pie and an oyster on top. Paired nicely with a pint of cider. Restaurant could use some updating, but it has been around for several hundred years, so in line with authenticity.
Just an amazing pub! Excellent staff, excellent drinks and excellent food. The Old Fashion and Espresso Martini are the best we’ve ever had. They take pride in their pub and it shows.
