Absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was so tasty and good portions. Definitely go again.
Simple yet delicious food. Small menu but quick service. Lots of meat. Tasty food. Friendly staff. Surcharge added to bill so be warned. Quiet. Rustic feel bit clean and tidy. Ideal location for a night at theatre.
It was a really great place, it wasn't busy that night when I arrived here. Staff was great, food was served fairly quickly. I had been to another bodeans and this one lived up to its name. I am in the area often and would consider returning here again. I really enjoyed my meal here and would recommend it if this is your sort of cuisine.
Excellent food and a nice atmosphere. The prices are a bit high. We were 3 people and enjoyed every bite. I recommend it if you want to try good barbecue in London.
I visited this on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. The service was pretty good and the place definitely has a BBQ smokehouse feel to it. I ordered the burnt ends with fries and slaw and the pork ribs with pulled pork. The burnt ends were delicious so soft and flavourful and the fries were nicely cooked as well. The pork was good but I definitely prefer the beef. It was juicier and more flavourful. It all came out to £50 quid for the two orders and one cocktail and their house pint so not bad for central London.

The Nell has the look and feel you would expect from a traditional English pub. Across the street form the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, it has long associations with London's theatrical community.

Opera Tavern is a beautiful two-storey bar and restaurant in the heart of central London’s theatre land. Located on Catherine Street we are opposite the Drury Lane Theatre.

A typical Victorian pub experience in a narrow-fronted local hidden behind flowering baskets.
